Who We Are
Birdie Lee Foundation, Inc. is a faith-rooted nonprofit incorporated in Alabama in 2026. We serve single mothers and women in transition — providing practical provision, education, transportation access, and a housing pathway that moves a woman from crisis to stability to ownership.
We build programs, enterprises, and partnerships that treat every woman who comes through our doors with dignity and the belief that she deserves more than what she has been given.
Our Five Pillars
Birdie's House
Community resale store providing work attire, school supplies, home essentials, and everyday provisions at accessible prices. The financial engine of BLF.
Wash N Rock Laundry
Affordable community laundromat meeting a daily basic need while generating steady revenue that keeps BLF visible and funded.
Sammobiles
Transportation partnership removing one of the biggest barriers women face — getting there. You cannot access what you cannot reach.
Eden Learning Center
Life skills, financial literacy, workforce re-entry, parenting classes, and faith-based identity development. Where she learns to stand on her own.
Housing Initiative
Emergency rental assistance, transitional housing, down payment support, and affordable housing development. From a roof to a home she owns. This is why everything else exists.
